Good location if you take the bus fto go to amed

A lot of food on the menu is not available ( exemple : banana, mango...)

Hotel Uyah is perfectly located right at the beach. The resort is pretty large and very well maintained. There are two pools, plenty of sun loungers (also in the shade), a SPA and even a dive center offering snorkeling and scuba diving excursions. There is also a table tennis and even a chessboard with pieces! Very nice and great for children. The staff are incredibly friendly and always helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The café offers a wide selection of reasonably priced food and drinks. I had my dinner at the lounge near the beach with a beautiful view. You'll be thoroughly pampered here and you can really relax and enjoy yourself.

The only reason I give this hotel a low score is because of the noise. There's a bar next door and they play loud music until late at night. Also the rooms closer to the street get all the road noise, tons of motorcycles all day.

We could hear neighbour's whispers - the sound was that bad. On nights with live music, or if neighbours were talking, it was impossible to rest without earplugs.It seems like the rooms were designed for a much quieter Amed of the past, as it was rarely quiet enough for us to sleep normally.We also had lots of mosquitoes in our room and a bad smell whenever the toilet was flushed, presumably unclean grey water.The rooms are also extremely dark, even with three lights on.

Shower has hardly any water coming out of spout. It needs to be cleaned so water can run freely.For the price rooms should have mini fridge and tea/coffee facilities.All good and drink has 21% tax, much more than anywhere else.Spa closes too early, girl told me 6pm but never there after 5pm. I like to have a massage before bed, but just walked next door open til 9.30pm.

Eco friendly, location

No fridge and A.C not working...only needed new batteries!

Noisy traffic and nearby noise/bands. They do have ear plugs in the room though.

This is the most eco- advanced property I have ever participated in staying. We enjoyed learning about their mission to be so ecological. We also enjoyed how the property started out as a salt producing area. Loved learning how salt is made out of saltwater from the ocean.

No refrigerator.

If you mowed the lawns, high pressure hosed the cement around the pool and had tv’s in the rooms the place would look feel a million bucks.

The location is about the only thing that was positive for us during our stay.

The mosquitos are horrendous both in rooms and at restaurant. No hot water as it’s solar powered. The lighting in the room is terrible. We only found out it was an “Eco friendly” resort after arriving at resort and reading the small print on the bathroom wall. It’s abit misleading. This is the first accommodation we have stayed at in Bali where the “Balinese service” was not on par with the rest of Bali. They do not have any blankets or duvets and the bed is so hard. So in terms of comfort it really lacks. There’s no reception number or anything and we found reception/restaurant staff weren’t very helpful except for Putu who made the effort to provide exceptional customer service. The pool bar does not open so can’t get drinks or snacks if you’re lounging by the pool.

Everybody from the hotel staff was amazingly kind and ready to help. The location is the best in Amed, close to every other point of interest. Having a dive school inside the hotel is an amazing option.

The fact that I did have to leave.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. We could book a snorkelling tour from the hotel at a very reasonable price. The snorkelling spots near the hotel were very good. Pools were clean and well maintained even though it was off season. We were right next to the beach which made for a peaceful atmosphere.

The food at the restaurant was nothing special. It was a shame as the rest of the place was great.

For the price very comfortable. Has all the facilities just no fridge in room.

No fridge in room is a bit of a let down . The toilet very old and decrepit, the shower had no pressure and the hot cold extremely contrary

The owner needs to spend some money. Shower just didn't work, at all. Has capabilities of being a great place, just needs some work. Staff were very nice though. Would not pay more than $40aud/ night until further works carried out..

Not clean, breakfast and services not good enough

Excellent pool, rooms are basic but reflect price paid and are clean. Snorkeling organized by the hotel was very good.

Accommodation (room 9 & 10) backed onto a chicken farm and chickens and cockerel were noisy most of the night. Add to that the barking of fighting packs of dogs results in poor nights sleep. Accommodation away from the road and near the beach do not suffer same noise issue so if you going to book ensure you get high number rooms away from chickens and dogs. We originally booked for 4 nights but left after two.
